ISAKOS正式成立于1995年，前身为国际膝关节学会（ISK）和国际关节镜学会（IAA），由二者合并而成。目前ISAKOS拥有来自全世界90个国家的超过3600名会员，致力于通力合作解决当今骨科关节镜和运动医学领域的前沿问题。
